Distribution of Power Driven Chaff Cutters to small and marginal farmers at 50 % subsidy

To reduce feed wastage, and to enhance the digestive efficiency of livestock and boost productivity

Project Area:

All Districts of Tamil Nadu except Chennai

Project Strategy:

A chaff cutter is an essential agricultural tool used for cutting straw or hay into small pieces before being mixed with other forage. This process is crucial for several reasons.

Eligibility:

The small and marginal farmers who own a minimum of 2 large animals and 0.25
acre for fodder crops cultivation with electricity facilities will be eligible on a priority basis.
